Här lockas vi ut pả dansgolvet av 31 fingerknäppsvänliga nummer frản 1948-
1963. Det är en trevlig blandning med sảväl välkända som mindre kända artister och latar, oftast i mediumtempo eller lugnare, och inga ösiga rocklátar att bugga till. Kanske främst tänkt att vara inbjudande till sá kallade tryckare (nagot jag dock inte haft tillfälle att testa).
En hel del kul och svängig musik bjuds det i alla fall pa. Inom blues/R&B-omrádet öser Wynonie Harris pả bra i "Bring it back", Dinah Washington sänger gott till storband i "Is you is or is you ain 't..." och Ruth Brown ger fina versioner av "Why don't you do right" och lángsamma "I don't know".
Ike Turner med bra sảng av pianisten Clayton Love i "She made my blood run cold" och Sonny Boy Williamsons "Help me" hör ocksa till de mera hörvärda bidragen. Inom country- och popomrá-dena ligger Ernie Fords "Sixteen tons".
"Relax" med Elvis och Fabians "About a thing called love" , men även dessa passar bra inom plattans tema.

Hier werden wir mit 31 fingerschnippenden Nummern aus den Jahren 1948 bis 1963 auf die Tanzfläche gelockt.
1963. Es ist eine schöne Mischung aus bekannten und weniger bekannten Künstlern und Liedern, meist in mittlerem Tempo oder langsamer, und keine üppigen Rockmelodien, zu denen man sich verbiegen muss. Vielleicht soll es vor allem die so genannten Drucker ansprechen (was ich noch nicht testen konnte).
Auf jeden Fall wird eine Menge Spaß und schwungvolle Musik geboten. Im Blues/R&B-Bereich macht Wynonie Harris einen guten Job in „Bring it back“, Dinah Washington singt gut zu einer Big Band in „Is you is or is you ain't...“ und Ruth Brown gibt feine Versionen von „Why don't you do right“ und dem angenehmen „I don't know“.
Ike Turner mit dem guten Gesang des Pianisten Clayton Love in „She made my blood run cold“ und Sonny Boy Williamsons „Help me“ gehören ebenfalls zu den hörenswerten Beiträgen. Im Country- und Pop-Genre ist Ernie Fords „Sixteen Tons“ ein herausragendes Stück.
„Relax“ mit Elvis und Fabians “About a thing called love“ aber auch diese passen gut in das Thema des Albums.

Here we are lured out on the dance floor by 31 finger-snap friendly numbers from 1948-
1963. It's a nice mix of well-known as well as lesser-known artists and tunes, mostly at medium tempo or slower, and no lush rock tunes to bend to. Perhaps mainly intended to be inviting to so-called printers (something I have not had the opportunity to test).
In any case, there is a lot of fun and swinging music on offer. In the blues/R&B area, Wynonie Harris does a good job in “Bring it back”, Dinah Washington sings well to a big band in “Is you is or is you ain't...” and Ruth Brown gives fine versions of “Why don't you do right” and the pleasant “I don't know”.
Ike Turner with good singing by pianist Clayton Love in “She made my blood run cold” and Sonny Boy Williamson's “Help me” are also among the more listenable contributions. In the country and pop genre, Ernie Ford's 'Sixteen tons' is a standout.
“Relax” with Elvis and Fabian's ‘About a thing called love’, but even these fit well within the album's theme.

Ici, nous sommes attirés sur la piste de danse par 31 titres de 1948 à 1963 qui font claquer les doigts.
1963. C'est un beau mélange d'artistes et de morceaux connus et moins connus, la plupart à un tempo moyen ou plus lent, et aucun morceau de rock luxuriant pour se déhancher. Il s'agit peut-être surtout d'une invitation pour les soi-disant imprimeurs (ce que je n'ai pas eu l'occasion de tester).
Quoi qu'il en soit, il y a beaucoup de musique amusante et entraînante. Dans le domaine du blues/R&B, Wynonie Harris fait du bon travail dans « Bring it back », Dinah Washington chante bien avec un big band dans « Is you is or is you ain't... » et Ruth Brown donne de belles versions de « Why don't you do right » et de l'agréable « I don't know ».
Ike Turner, bien interprété par le pianiste Clayton Love dans « She made my blood run cold » et « Help me » de Sonny Boy Williamson figurent également parmi les contributions les plus agréables à écouter. Dans le genre country et pop, « Sixteen tons » d'Ernie Ford se distingue.
