Bear Family Records hilft uns mit der Serie „On The Dancefloor“. Genau ein Jahr nach der Veröffentlichung von „On The Dancefloor With A Fingersnap - 31 Pops To Make The Party Shake!“ erscheint am 3. November 2024 der Nachfolger „On The Dancefloor With More Finger-snaps - 31 More Pops To Make The Party Shake!“.

Bear Family Records is helping us out with the “On The Dancefloor” series. Exactly one year after the release of “On The Dancefloor With A Fingersnap - 31 Pops To Make The Party Shake! On November 3, 2024, its sequel “On The Dancefloor With More Finger-snaps - 31 More Pops To Make The Party Shake” will be released. The key word is finger-snaps, which we often do consciously or instinctively when listening to music. Artists also often made these finger snaps an integral part of the song or its trademark.
The album opens with the oldest recording in the set, Bring It Back, by post-war R&B star Wynonie Harris, recorded in 1952. Listening to the following songs, you can't help but think of the famous song Fever, presented here by Little Caesar and The Romans from 1961.
