Little Lesley & The Bloodshots

Little Lesley & the Bloodshots sind ein original Rockabilly Trio aus New York. Vom britischen Vintage Rock Magazine als "welcome shot in the arm for the rockin' faithful" bezeichnet, haben sie die Szene mit ihrem feurigen Twang und ihrer energiegeladenen Live-Show im Sturm erobert.

Lesley Swift steht vor der Band, schmettert ihre Songs aus und schlägt den Kontrabass wie jemand, der dazu bestimmt war. Ihre leidenschaftlichen Auftritte, komplett mit atemberaubenden Bassbewegungen, haben Bühnen auf der ganzen Welt erhellt, darunter den Nashville Boogie, Viva Las Vegas, Summer Jamboree (IT) und den Hotrod Hayride (UK).

An der Gitarre ist sie von Ex-Cowboy und Punk-Rock-n-roll-Veteran Brian "Swifty" Swift begleitet. Sie trafen sich in Nevada, wo Swiftys wilder Gitarrenstil Lesley zu Rockabilly machte, und sie wagten sich gemeinsam nach New York, wo sie den gebürtigen Staten Islander Bobby Lee fanden. Bobbys Big-Band beeinflusste das Drumming und hüpfte ihren gitarrengetriebenen Twangy-Sound auf.

Little Lesley & The Bloodshots, zwei unabhängig voneinander veröffentlichte Alben, wurden 2016 von den legendären Western Star Records of the United Kingdom signiert. Ihre von Alan Wilson aufgenommene und produzierte "Doin' Fine"-EP hat für Furore gesorgt und wird regelmäßig im BBC-Radio gespielt.

Die Band hat nun auch eine Heimatbasis in Greenville SC und tourt regelmäßig durch die USA und Großbritannien. Sie können sie auf thebloodshots.com verfolgen.
